Here at Fashion Crossover London, this is the first time our team has attended one of Matty Bovan's shows; and what a first show to attend! ROBERTA EINER AW186th March 2018
Standing in front of The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane; right across the street from the Royal Courts of Justice, we were at first slightly perplexed by the chosen location, as we entered the venue for the Roberta Einer AW18 presentation. One could not help but question: Why was a fashion event being held at a venue that had so little to do with its creative industry? We soon discovered the answer, as we witnessed the content of the presentation.
The hired models were not only there to exhibit Einer's luxury pieces, but also to demonstrate a point.

Something extraordinary has occurred in this year's London Fashion Week: Queen Elizabeth has paid a visit to the venue at 180 Strand, and awarded Central Saint Martins' 2016 MA Fashion graduate Richard Quinn with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at Quinn's own Catwalk show.
While it is most encouraging to see Her Majesty on site visiting displays and meeting designers at the Autumn/Winter 2018 fashion festivities, one can not help but wonder, is there a deeper underlying implication in the Queen's visit?

LONDON FASHION WEEK SS18 STREET STYLE19th September 2017
The street style at London Fashion Week is incomparable and always will be. LFW SS18 was a festivity of London's contrasting societies and subcultures, varying from kaleidoscopically, vibrant club kids wearing their own colourful formulations to the impeccably flawless dressers sitting front row, this year had it all.
Never overlooking the finer details is what we loved about the street style we spotted this year. Instagrammable individuals strutted between the SS18 shows, filling us with fun, edge and confidence.

JULIEN MACDONALD SS1818th September 2017
Julien Macdonald’s SS18 show had the A list fans out in force, with a star-studded front row including Ronan Keating, Tom Daley, Amanda Holden and Rachel Stevens. However, Macdonald also lined up a range of big names to walk his runway. Hailey Baldwin, Winnie Harlow and Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio strutted down the catwalk before joining the designer for the show's dramatic finale.
The Fashion Crossover London team were incredibly excited to head down to the Invicta Plaza for the event with Domi Perek, the editor of Mess Magazine. Even at an event filled with huge stars wearing high end designer pieces, Domi is not being driven by wearing top luxury names. Instead she decided to wear Fashion Crossover London’s graduate designer pieces.

ROBERTA EINER SS1815th September 2017
Glistening glamour, elaborate ornamentation and superlative shades are what we absolutely adore about Roberta Einer’s creative aesthetic, and her SS18 presentation at the old Central Saint Martin’s building, where the designer graduated, did not disappoint.
Einer allowed us to escape rainy London by taking us to a tropical utopia filled of palm trees and ice-cream sandwich snacks. Think California beaches, skaters, surfers and your typical LA girl as that is what Roberta Einer’s SS18 collection colourfully characterised.

On early Friday morning our team attended the opening of the Fall/Winter 2017 London Fashion Week - the Teatum Jones catwalk show - the fashion lovechild of designers Rob Jones and Cat Teatum.
