Graduated from London College of Fashion in the summer of 2020, Alice Khor completed her BA in Fashion Design and Development with First Class Honours. Having interned at McQ Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane during her placement year, she managed to refine her design and making skills as well as gain valuable insights into the world of luxury fashion.

Originally from Malaysia, Alice’s multicultural background enables her to bring a unique viewpoint to the fashion world. For her graduate collection, she embarked on a journey to experiment, reinterpret & fuse traditional elements from her home country with modern technology.

She wanted to create something that pays tribute to the past but also has a place in the future. Entitled ‘ASLI’, her collection aims to showcase the beauty of her multi-cultured home country as a sign of appreciation. Asli is Malay for ‘original’.

During the stay-at-home period, Alice lost access to affordable laser cutting which halted the creation of her final pieces. However, her determination on having her work showcased led her to take the reins on modelling and photographing her final toiles through creative ways, all within the limitations of her accommodation.
