Lin has always believed that design is more than just a subject. Graduating from the Visual Communication programme, her exploration of design and art began in her childhood.

After working in visual design for 5 years, she founded RECYANCLE, a brand based on her personal style ‘psychedelic oriental’. Her background in different design disciplines has enabled her to have a more comprehensive and detailed grasp of the brand's image, and she is able to comfortably incorporate cross-disciplinary techniques into her garments.

Out of her passion for design, Lin went to the UK in 2021 to study at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she gained a first class MA degree in Design: Expanded Practice.

This experience enabled her to gain a deeper understanding of domestic and international cultures, and to think more deeply about design, philosophy and sociology.
