Arunhaili is a jewellery designer and graduate of BA Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins. Bearing a love for surrealism, she allows her designs to take shape and be influenced by what she feels passionate about.

She holds great importance to the skills and craftsmanship required to make jewellery. Her traditional handmaking techniques, give her work a classic feel, and one that creates an ever more personal touch. With every millimetre carefully monitored, her work is nurtured and raised into its embellished state.

On her journey exploring techniques and skills, she admires the traditional styles of jewellery making. Through her practice, she is eager to maintain the skill level, patience, and dedication, to create pieces that, by pouring her soul into the work, represents art within her craft.

As a human race, we intrinsically find comfort and strength through objects. This relationship, partnered with inspiration from Chinese rituals and mythology, is the concept Arunhaili has applied to create this collection. The traditional technique of chainmail weaving, accompanied by modern fold forming, explores her jewellery's position and form on the body, as well as the combination of materials used. Her designs offer the wearer a sense of intimacy, with the ability to be secretive or striking. They reflect how we want to feel as people, creating a spiritual relationship with the body.
