Cindy Chen, founder of C-Concept was born in Tainan, Taiwan and spent most of her childhood at various places in the U.K. With a master degree in Design and Engineering from Kingston University, the born-and-raised Taiwanese, launched her first set of art-toys “Unisaur” in 2019.

Having previous experience working in Lego, and also an avid art-toys collector herself, Cindy was inspired by many art-toy designers such as Tatsuhiko Akashi, Jason Freeny, Joe Ledbetter. She also hopes she will be able to bring some positive energy to the industry.

Currently the design office is based in London. Cindy hopes that she can bring some of her multi-cultural background into her design. For Cindy, “Art with a playful side” is the basis of all her designs, and she hopes this can be shared with other collectors.
