Carolina Perez Leon is a multi-disciplinary designer whose work is principally focused on the topic of ‘How we will live in the future’. She applies a broad range of research and experimentation techniques across multiple fields to explore this theme holistically.
During her studies at Central Saint Martins (MA Material Futures) she concentrated on exploring various emerging technologies from nanotechnology to speculating the impact that living on Mars will have on everyday life.
Currently she is researching the potential of biomimetic methods, for enabling the construction of regenerative systems through her latest project Biomimicking strength.
Her work is guided by an overall mission to help build a sustainable future for the planet and its inhabitants.
