Charlie McCosker is an Irish South African designer living and working in London. She is currently studying womenswear fashion design at Central Saint Martins. Her work has been published in: Vogue, Dazed, Twin and Show Studio. Her work is made specifically to enhance the wearer’s power in sexuality and confidence. Her ideal muse is someone who nobody knows, but everybody is talking about - hushed whispers circling at the party and the awareness of heads turning around you. There is a mania and fluidity in the way she works and a considered calm in her clothing in respect to colours, patterns, fabrics and how they can be styled and put together.
She coins the terms FUTURE SHOCK COUTUTURE and WASTE COUTURE as her brand aims and pathway for the its future survival.
