Chloe Linda Innes is a sustainable womenswear designer based in the highlands of Scotland who graduated with a BA Fashion (Honours) from the School of Textiles and Design at Heriot Watt University in 2020. Her graduate collection titled “ALBA” translates simply from Scottish Gaelic to “Scotland” – where Innes has evolved romanticized notions of Highland dress to design a collection for a modern Scotland, that transforms sustainable handcraft into luxury.

With her final year at University cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with all other final year fashion students, Innes had to continue her graduate collection and portfolio from home. In order to give her collection visibility online she created a makeshift home studio in her mother’s living room during lockdown and utilised family members to assist in photographing the first outfit in her collection. Innes remains highly positive for her future and aims to be a part of the upcoming creatives that reduces the fashion industries environmental impact on the planet.
