Desara is a textile designer and has just finished her final year where she studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martins. She has had the opportunity to expand and develop her knowledge over the three years spent there. Her inspiration when creating textiles is the 3D element, she has always had a constructed mindset towards things and this is shown within her work whether it be through the details or the construction itself. Her focus is to create innovative surfaces and pieces that can be used for contemporary use.

Specialising in woven design allows Desara to be experimental and explore how yarns work and interact with one another. With a passion for materials and attention to detail, Desara is often drawn towards architectural influences as well as multidisciplinary artists.

Being open-minded and interested in developing her design ideas to a range of design pathways such as Fashion, Interiors, and Architecture. Desara describes herself as someone who has a strong creative flair and motivation in what they do and hopes to continue progressing her work even further.
