With family roots imbedded in farming in Northern England, Emily has been raised to connect with the full cycle of a supply chain. Within her collections she aims to address the disconnect in today’s society between an individual, the clothes they choose and their local community.

Studying MA Fashion at Kingston University she specialised in tailoring, drawing influence from her English heritage and local fabric suppliers with the outcome of producing a ready-to-wear womenswear collection.

Power of Production is a reaction from the uncertainty surrounding Brexit within the UK, with the aim of showing optimism within the future of the UK’s trade and industries.

Designs have been inspired by British Victorian tailoring techniques, and fabrics have been supplied by British manufacturers. This includes a sponsorship from Huddersfield Cloth.
