Xin Wen graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and went to the UK to study painting, sculpture, art design, handicrafts, window display and wedding display. She created her brand, Espiegle in 2015. Her main work hat design and wedding accessories.

ESPIEGLE is French for ‘playful’. She uses a lot of different colours and interesting design elements. Her style resembles a childlike feeling as she wanted to convey the idea of a childlike, happy life.

Xin could not find the right fabric suppliers so she uses her own production of stained card samples, used as a colour reference.

She is inspired by fairytales, nature and life and uses a range of different techniques such as silk screen printing, laser cutting and embroidery to create her designs.
