Evelina Tănasie is finding her inspiration in historical periods, emotions and muses. So, she is open up to any kind of concept or aesthetics. She also focuses on bold contrasts between volumes, textures and colors, and the tailoring part is as well developed as possible.

Evelina Tănasie is finding her inspiration in historical periods, emotions and muses. So, she is open up to any kind of concept or aesthetics. She also focuses on bold contrasts between volumes, textures and colors, and the tailoring part is as well developed as possible.

The concept develops around the drama, anxiety and identification with the imagination, ideas also found in Schopenhauer and materialized in this BA project. These are visually associated with the aesthetics of the '80s, illustrated by the spectacular creations of Thierry Mugler and the enigmatic image of the singer Grace Jones. Between the key design elements, tensions and polarity relations are created: the volume of the shoulders, of the sleeves and the highlighted waist, the covering of the body by layering the symmetrical and asymmetrical pieces, the use of metallic elements.
