The UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT), whose President is HRH Princess Royal, is the most inclusive network for fashion and textile companies in the UK. They bring together designers, manufacturers, suppliers, agents and retailers with the likes of Burberry, All Saints, Ted Baker and many more to promote their businesses and industry, both in the UK and throughout the world.
 
Fashion Crossover London has the mission and goal of promoting young British brands and fresh talent from the East and the West. We are currently working with more than 600 designers both online and offline, also provide an overseas channel between the UK and China to assist them in increasing their media profile and sales internationally.



During these unprecedented times when offline activities have mostly come to a standstill and when different countries have imposed mobility restrictions across all fronts, the ability to ensure business continuity online has become a pivotal challenge for any business. Thanks to the solid online media infrastructure and selling channels Fashion Crossover London has developed over the years across our UK and China offices, we are able to provide immediate and fruitful assistance to many of our industry affiliates, to help facilitate the migration of the core parts of their businesses to take place in the virtual space.



As a UKFT Associate Member, Fashion Crossover London is committed to providing our expertise and services to UKFT, achieving mutual growth across our business together, as well as building the direct commerce and communication pathway to China. Given the significant geopolitical headwind which the UK will be facing in 2021, Fashion Crossover London will further reinforce its support and connection with its designers, manufacturers and retailers across UK and China, to continue to serve our clients and industry partners in an increasingly challenging environment.



Fashion Crossover London, which won the Barclays Entrepreneur Award 2020, currently represents over 600 young designers globally, including award-winning designers and alumni from the leading fashion institutes such as Central Saint Martins (CSM), Royal College of Arts, Parsons School of Design and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.
 
 

Fashion Crossover London supports the pioneers and emerging voices of fashion, such as Aurelie Fontan, who recently won the Dame Vivienne Westwood Sustainable and Ethical Award. Her collection has close ties with a circular design and she follows the bio-couture pioneer, Senior Research Fellow at CSM Dr. Suzanne Lee’s footprint, by growing her own fabric from living microorganisms.

In 2020, under the background of the extreme challenges of the class of 2020 was faced with during the global pandemic, which led many students to have their time at Central Saint Martins cut short and missing out on the opportunity to have their work seen by industry professionals and the press. Fashion Crossover London initiated the Fashion Crossover London Advertorial Sponsorship - ELLE UK, in which fifteen selected Central Saint Matins, 2020 Graduates, from the BA Jewellery, BA Textile and MA Material Futures pathways will be featured.
