Before graduating in MA Material Futures at Central St Martins School, I studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Having often moved in recent years, it has been impossible for me to have a studio in which to carry out my artistic research. The thing I love the most about embroidery is the fact that I don’t need to work in a specific place. I have been embroidering for about six years, wherever I was: on the sofa, on the bus, at the airport and even at the seaside.
