Holly’s graduate collection was inspired by the state of Hypnagogia. This is the state between wakefulness and sleep, and can be identified by the feeling of falling you may experience as you go to sleep. She took the majority of her inspiration from the physical and visual sensations associated with the state. These are hallucination and dreaming that an individual can experience, as well as the physical sensations of falling and flying.

Using fabrics of contrasting weights, Holly explored drape heavily within the collection to hightlight the unpredictability of the hypnagogic state, as well as represent the physical sensations of flying and falling. The outcome was a collection in which every outfit includes an element of structure and drape.
