Team IM is concerned about if you feel good in the item you picked; good about the way the products were designed, produced, and manufactured, good about the effects on our health, good about the way that makes you feel, as the team hopes you love them as much as they do.

Designed under a conceptual framework about form follows function. Mortise and tenon construction is common in today's furniture making but very rare in the fashion category. The wood handle is designed in a stretch-octagon shape, each corner shaped in 45-degree which refers to the perfect angle of mortise-tenon joints. Its shape is 100% handmade by a traditional carpenter, and with the laser engraving after. The carved pattern is inspired by the photo of mortise-tenon joints also echoing the constructions of mortise-tenon joints.

Aimed to promote the upcycle movement, rescue, and transform materials that otherwise would have gone to landfill. IM designed also turned the leftovers and silk-print (test) swatches into a leather-silk bag. Every single bag will be limited in production and handmade in Hong Kong. The results are unique and sustainable products.
