Jaehyeong's graduate collection 'Wearable Toy' contains research and development to create original concept wear which is assembly garment. It is inspired by robot toys. Toy does not have to be only practical, so he chooses a toy as the main theme. He wants to design a garment that has various potential, not only to concentrate on function.



 
In terms of the fundamental system(conceptual idea) of the garment, it is affected by external storage of computer and games console. Regarding the computer, it makes possible to extend functions and contents by attaching an external device to the main computer. In addition, it could be different main computer making a company from printer, game, software and so on making company. In other words, functions from a computer are the outcome of cooperation between the main computer and peripheral devices companies.

Neodymium magnet is pivotal material in this project. A lot of magnets have been tested in order to find the most suitable thing for clothes. Neodymium magnet is strong enough, even it is a small size. Therefore, in order to enhance flexible and lightweight of garments, thick, long and big magnets were excluded. Below magnets are chosen for this project.
 
 
The collection is very structural and standardized in order to get vast potential to transform by external products. Thus, the main body shape and details are quite restricted. And, almost every embedded pocket are been unnoticed to harmonize with independent goods. In addition, there are many experimental vents which can be compatible with external products also with magnets.
