Jessica Nozato is a recent graduate BA, Fashion Designer from Istituto Marangoni London. For her final graduate fashion collection, she created a gender-less collection AW 22/23.
She was also selected as one of the 10 best Fashion Collection and she presented her collection at Istituto Marangoni Fashion Show 2022.
Her collection is inspired by workwear worn by farmers from her hometown, taking the functional, adaptable and durable details and giving them a modern twist, through experimentation with shape, detail and manipulation.
Many people used to ask her a lot about her background and many were amazed that she was from farmers family, who grows wheat, rice, soya and broom corn. She felt that it was a great opportunity to create a collection dedicated to her family. She took inspiration from vintage to modern workwear and she developed these garments to be wearable and having interesting functional details.
