At JOHANNA STUDIOS, the design process is rooted in the philosophy of slow luxury, where thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and ethical practices come together. Each piece begins as a collaborative journey, carefully developed to reflect the personality, story, and milestones of the wearer.

Designed and handcrafted in Vienna by Johanna herself, every creation balances modern aesthetics with timeless craftsmanship. Using exclusively recycled precious metals and lab-grown or vintage gemstones, the studio focuses on creating meaningful jewellery intended to last for generations.

The bespoke journey begins with a personal or online consultation, where ideas and design directions are discussed openly. From this conversation, the concepts are developed into detailed 3D renderings to help visualise the design and refine any elements. If desired, the design can also be 3D printed for a try-on session before the final piece is crafted.

Once the design is confirmed, the sourcing process begins with carefully hand-selected materials. Johanna Studios works exclusively with recycled gold and silver, as well as lab-grown diamonds, with the only exceptions being vintage gemstones or heirloom remodels.

Each piece is then handcrafted in the Vienna studio by Johanna herself with great care and dedication. In the final stage, every stone is set by hand before the jewellery receives its last high polish, completing the bespoke piece.
