Jojo’s collection is highly inspired by the stretchiness and flexibility of the knitwear itself. When facing danger, people put on different kinds of clothing to protect themselves. Each outfit is based on various “Protection” stories from Chinese auntie and uncles’ style as well as Bauhaus Ballet.

During the process of developing knitwear samples, Jojo focused on using elastic yarns to allow more movement for wearers. The neon colour palette has a really fun and strong impact on the collection.

Each look has a slightly different inspiration, for example, her first toile comes from the 3-piece sun projection suit and the folding pushchairs for babies. The entire collection is really fun and vivid, exploring the stretchiness of the fabric and also the performative elements of the fashion garments.
