Kei Zhang is a fashion designer based in Japan and London, received a Bachelor's degree from Bunka Gakuen University and Master's degree from London College of Fashion. Her Chinese and Japanese background gives her different cultures leading to a unique way of thinking, which helps her to create some collections inspired from symbiotic society and cultural diversity.

Kei’s work proposes modern womenswear that mixes street style and Japanese “Kawaii” with an emphasis on playful shapes & scales, colourful expressions and bold innovative textile designs. Her latest collection “DAN" aims to express multicultural symbiotic society in a Danchi, a type of Japanese housing estate where many foreigners live. Kei mainly chose soft and easy-to-wear fabric such as cotton and jersey, which are commonly used in children's wear. She combined circles, spots, floral pattern to represent various generations and nationalities living in a Danchi. Items such as oversized down jackets, sagging pants and hooded sweatshirts are used to show off street style.
