Inspired by the notion of unifying what was once broken. Kewpie's collection, which she calls "United", translates human connection into the intricate language of her jewellery. Crafted from recycled ceramics, brass and silver, her collection features time-honoured motifs of peace and union. Referencing traditional ceramic repair methods, each piece carries a unique history and is produced by hand, using up-cycled materials: sustainability and longevity are key factors for the artist.

The main idea of “United’ can be expressed by the forms, colours and motifs of the objects, the origin of the materials and the action of combining them. Most works of this collection are gathering segments of different ceramics potteries into one whole piece.

The ceramic pottery Kewpie used to construct her collection are find in different vintage markets and charity shops. By the time she collecting the old ceramics, she heard many stories about them. Each pottery has a trademark which just like a record of its birth and story. Putting them together just like linking people with different background and can show the thought of unity.
