Kigen is interested in how people use their bodies and he is particularly fascinated by the idea that people occasionally use their bodies as objects. His project reflects his interest in the movement of the body and explores the active relationship between the human body and jewellery.

Kigen developed his designs by highlighting subconscious gestures that appear in our lives using the shape of everyday objects. For his collection, Kigen has reimagined jewellery as an extension of the body with uses that are made apparent when worn without physically limiting or restraining the movement and gestures of the wearer.
