Lauren Patchett is a recent graduate from The University of Dundee (Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design) Textiles programme, with a specialism in knit. The visual aspects of her work commonly stem from drawing; textural, colourful, compositional and thoughtful.

This is her final year project, "-Whatever you say, say nothing" Seamus Heaney. Men's mental health is a growing issue in today's society. Being from Northern Ireland, she witnessed this problem manifest prominently there. Northern Ireland has one of the highest suicide rates in the UK, with most of these being men between the ages of 35 and 44. Joe Wallen illustrates the continuous effect of conflict prominently by stating, "The country struggles to escape the trauma of the troubles".
