Born in 1977 in Germany, Nina Athanasiou used to work as an Freelance Illustrator while also running her own Bar after studying Fashion Design. In 2013, after giving birth to her two children, she finally turned back to Fashion and has been presenting her Label successfully during Fashion Week New York, London, Berlin and Vancouver as well as Boston. In 2013 she was also rewarded with the Emerging Designer Award during Fashion Week London, in 2016 she won the Fashion Award of BKFW in Brooklyn, New York.

Nina Athanasiou is known for working with extraordinary models such as Shaun Ross, Melanie Gaydos, Diandra Forrest, Rico Zombie or Elliott Sailors, which all took place in one of her latest project "THE NEW MASTERS" as well, a project where she re-stages old Master paintings in an extremely long and laborious process as photographs in a new setting. Those images were not only exhibited in Berlin during Fashion Week but also are the large prints used in the latest collection. She has been working in Fashion Film since 2014 - so far having produced 3 Fashion Films: Akuma, Fashion Junkies and Aterius.

Freedom, self-expression and a zest for life are key stories for the AMORE collection. Inspiration comes from the glamour of the iconic Studio 54 era, the vibrance of that time period and the sweet wickedness of 70's soft erotic.
