Puyu’s collection was inspired by atmosphere of art culture during the trip in Milan, Florence, Rome and Venice. The Renaissance began in the 14th century in Florence, Italy, but it was a though-provoking trip to discover the beauty of nature from the oil painting and sculptures. Artists developed techniques, shadow and studying light, so she amazed by Bernini’s sculptures, carving the details of drape and shape of muscle (body). It also effected Puyu how to develop original material and techniques to more proficiency.

Making the shape of drops which can stay permanently on the body, she tried different materials as much as possible. The technic of stiffening fabric does not work well, it damage the material of fabric and loose the original colours. However, the technic of forming acrylic works better after making lots of failure examples. The thickness of acrylic determine the shape when work on forming, and the degree and angle of temperature have to be practised. During the making processes, it was a process that she need to be patient. There are many repeated works on colouring each pieces make it simulate to silk.

The design is to create a combination between jewellery and textile. Puyu wants to present an idea that there is a future for wearable objects, which is convenient and combines the daily needs of objects in one piece, like jewellery and cloths with bespoke shape of body.
