Rejina Pyo, the award winning Korean born fashion designer presented her stunning AW18 collection this past London Fashion week. Although it was only Rejina´s second ever catwalk show, she was able to demonstrate her brand’s steady rise by filling out the front seats with powerful buyers from across the world. This time around, Rejina Pyo chose to showcase her collection at the decorative stretch of Burlington Arcade amongst its individual and prestigious boutiques.
This was a collection that celebrates freedom: “The naïve braver and innocence of youth.” With trench coats being roached around the waist as an opening look followed by an over-sized coat with neck-scarfs, the entire collection successfully delivered a retro chic atmosphere. The sensitive blend of feminine colour palettes: different hues of blue, sepia and pink, harmonized beautifully with the suiting silhouettes adopting industrial contrast stitching details.

Another highlight of Pyo’s show were the accessories. For this collection in particular, she expanded her accessory pieces. Oversized folded handbags tucked under the model’s arms and ankle boots in snake skin were obviously the items that the buyers would die for. After all, the collection was full of individual and luxurious pieces that women would want to wear and buy.
