After earning a bachelor’s degree in economics from St Stephens College, University of Delhi, Saveri felt at a loss and as if she didn’t belong in any of the career choices usually available to an economics graduate. Much soul searching later, and a lot more convincing at home later, She enrolled into Istituto Marangoni, Milan. She quickly realised her penchant for pattern-making and with continued encouragement from her instructors, she learnt the fundamentals well. Having dabbled with textile and surface manipulation techniques in a professional working environment, she felt compelled to capitalise on her strengths of draping and tailoring. She founded ROZE 2.11 in October 2023. With existential themes at the centre of the brand’s explorations, complex constructions and melancholy colours take forefront.
