Sanjana Ghosh is an emerging conceptual luxury womenswear designer whose practice sits at the intersection of material intelligence, craft, and intellectual enquiry. Through her brand Manush, she creates a luxury womenswear line of bespoke pieces, where each garment is treated as a vehicle for storytelling, shaped by the wearer, research, and material innovation. For Sanjana, fashion functions as a living metaphor. Each design carries meaning, holds memory, and reveals itself slowly over time to those who look closely.

She cares deeply about fashion innovation and sustainability, with a practice rooted in conceptual design and storytelling through the materiality and construction of a collection. Her work explores the emotional and philosophical dimensions of dress, celebrating what it means to be human through garments that balance craft, narrative, and experimentation.

Growing up across five countries, India, the Middle East, United States of America, France, and the United Kingdom, her work is technically exacting yet emotionally resonant, informed by a cross-cultural perspective that allows her to move fluidly between traditions while moving beyond cultural boundaries. Sanjana trained on the MA Fashion Design & Technology programme at London College of Fashion, following a BFA from Parsons School of Design in both Paris and New York. This three-city formation, American experimentation, French atelier discipline, and London’s conceptual rigour informs a sensibility that is both grounded in making and restless in thought.
