Ruizi Shi interviewed by ELEMENT magazine, China. As a young and upcoming Chinese fashion designer Ruizi Shi founded SHUR RUITZ in her early 20s. She is the owner of a hybrid business model, which has incorporated a concept coffee shop into her fashion flagship store in Chongqing, China.

Ruizi finds her inspiration primarily from the Chinese culture, and much of her design concepts originate from the spirit of Taoism (a traditional Chinese religion). Having studied Fashion Design in Istituto Marangoni across the school’s London and Milan campus, at graduation Ruizi was chosen to display her creation in the London Fashion Week, as a representative from the institution.

Unbounded by the conventional rules, Ruizi has approached the world of fashion with her unique designs, embedded within the Chinese elements, which she has always adored.
