An MA Material Futures student from Central Saint Martins who is exploring natural resources in the mean of creating a closed-loop system with a zero-waste policy and having bottom-up design approach with living materials as a key of the design work in order to enhance sustainable activities and encourage the potential usage of such designs in the real world.
My graduation project is interested in turning waste chicken feathers from poultry industry into an alternative lean protein food source.
‘A Lighter Delicacy’
Applying science to investigate the physical, chemical and biological transformation of materials that occur in crafting processes to invent a new kind of delicacy from chicken by product with value added through crafted processes to visualise and deliver truthful properties of food. The food also intends to wipe out the stigma image that is associated with its original source.
