Tianyu Li, the theme of this series is Absurd: En attendant Godot, of which inspiration comes from a well-known absurdism drama of Waiting for Godot. The Theatre of the Absurd is a post World War II designation for particular plays of absurdist fiction written by several primarily European playwrights in the late 1950s, as well as one for the style of theatre which has evolved from their work.Their work mainly focused on the idea of existentialism and expressed what happens when human existence has no meaning or purpose, and therefore all communication breaks down. Logical construction and argument give way to irrational and illogical speech and its ultimate conclusion.
For this survey, Tianyu Li has shot the stage photos of Waiting for Godot and made a version of photography. And get the silhouette and color from photography. Then, He drew this imagination into ready-to-wear and sketch.
Among which, a built-in inflatable cloth and a cloth designed a fake leg with an iron shelf supported by steel wire were included. Also, it added that inflatable airbags are built into the clothes and inflated by stepping on the air pump and cloth, which can be worn by two people. An absurd connotation will be shown out by the exaggerated and illogical clothes structure.
