One of the fondest memories of Alegria Grifdal’s is her childhood in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. This mystical city is affluent in copious branches of artisanal expressions, she often visited workshops and studios with her family. Falling in love since a young age with the process of creating handcrafted and unique pieces, Following a powerful calling, Alegria embarked on a journey to acquire prolific skills through acclaimed schools, mentors, and master crafters in Mexico, Spain, and Italy.




While discovering diverse facets of the fashion and luxury industry, she also explored further spirituality and symbolism in her trips that brought even more blaze to her inner growing ploy and eventually gave birth to Tissuville in Sweden. Alegria has a stimulating fondness for leather, precious gemstones, supreme steel and silver.




Tissuville’s every design process starts with a feeling, like an urge in the being, something that moves the core. Alegria states, “sometimes, a look of the design appears very clear to me and other times I just get fixated on the source: my muse, this source becomes my inspiration that is calling me to create something around it. It can be shapes, patterns, materials, art, architecture, individuals and even music”. It is truly believed that the best inspiration comes when one is in a state of gratitude, open to a language, a dance like a vibration between oneself and a higher source. At Tissuville, all the pieces are meticulously and devotedly created and have a story, as they come from a different origin and the process of their respective creation vary from each other.




After an idea becomes meaningful, A G starts sketching, examining and simultaneously connecting with all the diverse materials that might be a part of the end result and then trying to assemble all of it like a puzzle, then moving on to the sampling process. The above-mentioned procedure from the beginning till the end can take days, weeks, months and perhaps years until she feels content with the outcome. The theory is not about right or wrong but about what they are transmitting.

Eventually, all the pieces become like an alphabet, a language that lets you express, and a channel to communicate. A G designs keeping all her clients in mind with a deep admiration for individuals who are early adopters, who value artistic expressions, who look for unique statement pieces, who are also creative and prefer to style their looks with utmost detailing as they are deeply connected to their environment.
