London College of Fashion stages the most digitally-advanced fashion show in its history

Combining a physical catwalk with an immersive virtual exhibition, the next generation of media and design students showcased their graduate collections in Bethnal Green’s Oval Space.

The show was also broadcast live to an audience across the globe using interactive and immersive 360-degree technology.

Rob Phillips, creative director for the college’s School of Design and Technology, said; “We wanted to create a multi-perspective environment in which to view the wide array of work we do. In today’s visual market, we don’t just look at products in their physical form. The use of moving image opens up new ways to connect to fashion.”
