The capsule collections of the Audi Fashion Festival winners were presented on the occasion of the Audi Fashion Festival. Every year the competition for young fashion talents, which takes place in Singapore, celebrates two new promises of the fashion system. The winners of the competition spend one year in incubation, during which they are supported in their professional growth and more concretely with an amount of ten thousand dollars, for the debut on the runways. One year after the 2013 edition, at the conclusion of an internship experience at F J Benjamin, the Vietnamese Vu Ta Linh and the Chinese Sun Yijin - the outgoing winners - presented their debut collection to the press, public and works personnel.

The F/W15 collection designed by the twenty-five-year-old Vu Ta Linh is called Indigo and is called after a Vietnamese popular song The lyrics of the song sing the praises of freedom, artistic expression and self-imposition of one’s own individuality. With these same principles, Vu Ta Linh sees his garments as a free expression of himself. The precious fabrics he works on turn into a palette able to refine and combine neutral vintage hues with check motives and multi-color prints. Linh orchestrates draping and layering, revisiting not only the kimono structure and European conceived –style formalwear. The Vietnamese also focuses on a new way of thinking: how to wear garments arisen from East and West cultural emblems.
