Dionne Ellison is the Founder/CEO of Vuliwear® a new line of designer eyewear that’s all the rage. Dionne is a Philly/Jersey girl with a passion for fashion and always thinking outside the box. She was inspired to create a unique eyewear brand revolutionizing the sunglass industry with technology and style. Dionne found her design muses not in people, but rather in the creepy crawly.
Vuliwear sunglasses are inspired by nature, specifically the awesome colors and patterns of insect eyes. Cleverly coined “Beautiful Shades of eeww!” Vuliwear shades are unisex, fully polarized, provide UV protection from the sun and made in Italy. Vuliwear is committed to helping raise awareness about the risks of exposure to UV rays. Because UV exposure happens over a lifetime and doesn’t always produce immediate symptoms, people of all ages must be aware of the negative impact sunlight can have on our eyes—protect yourself –wear your Vuli’s all year long.
We believe in giving back. We also realize that some insects can be deadly and every evening families are at risk of mosquitoes carrying Malaria. Nothing But Nets is a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness, funds, and voices to fight malaria. Nothing But Nets sends insecticide-treated bed nets to protect families from malaria-carrying mosquitoes along with other crucial malaria interventions like diagnostics, treatment, and training of healthcare workers. Since 2006, they have raised over $65 million to help deliver 12 million bed nets to families in need.
