With the first try and a better understanding of sustainable fashion, Yijia was finished her MA course of fashion design at Kingston University. She will continue to explore sustainable fashion and use her own design language to leade people to discover the different values of clothing.

She combines workwear with emotional design, using natural fabrics such as silk and wool to develop this sustainable project. Light and heavy fabrics, also the soft and dark colors bring an aging aesthetic. She use deconstruction and different techniques, like natural dye and embroidery, to constitute a multilayered collection. It is interesting to see the “past” and the “present” in a project.
