Yongfan Lu is a fashion design student who is interested in sustainable fashion in biological thinking.

During the study time in BA Fashion Design and Development at London College of Fashion, Yongfan has realized the threaten of unsustainable fashion to human’s daily life while understanding the running of the fashion industry. Yongfan is pursuing looking for the method to keep fashion sustainability after took the MA Biodesign in Central Saint Martins. Yongfan believes regenerative biology will bring new energy to the fashion industry.

Nowadays, she devotes herself to explore fashion designs for co-living with nature. The new materials made of microorganisms always have the energy and function beyond imagination with a natural recycle and balance for the environment and human’s life. Design is not only for human beings but also for better ecosystem bioremediation.
