Zixuan Wang is a recently graduated Womenswear designer based in London. She finishes the BA Fashion Design Womenswear course in Central Saint Martins in Summer 2021.

Her final collection is inspired by The Suicide Boom by Kenji Chiga, which is a collection of photographs and research about ‘the suicide boom’ in Japan, this book reveals the social phenomenon and pressure upon the Japanese people especially towards the youth.

Throughout her research, the main suicide reason leads to the contemporary social problems and serious lack of communication between people. She would like to send a positive and strong message to her audiences, the distinctive feelings in the world of depression and beautiful formal changes of clothes on body integrate into nature bring her textile/print and silhouette ideas.
