Ashley is born and raised in Hong Kong, currently based in London. She completed her further education at Camberwell College of Arts for illustration and attends Central Saint Martins for Textiles Design, specialising in Weave. She is passionate about print and woven design for fashion. She is drawn to the bright colours along with abstract elements in the environment that are full of electric ambience.

In Ashley’s graduate collection, she explored various different woven techniques and materials including lurex and metal showcasing characteristics of futurism along with different colour ways which is based on her jewel toned palette. Year 3000 is her investigation into the future in an abstract, surreal manner, she based part of her research asking public what do they think about Y3K will be like? Looking for the answer to questions , ‘Can humans coexist with aliens?’ ‘ What do aliens actually look like?’ supported with dystopian, abstract photography, digital illustrations and sculptures.
