Emma is a multidisciplinary textile designer, based in London. Her work focuses on material, process, colour and surface. Juxtaposing 2D digital print design and 3D constructed surface manipulation allows her to design diverse textile collections for fashion and accessories. During her final year at Central Saint Martins Emma developed her own leather embossing techniques as a low impact approach to surface design.

Inspiration for her final project ‘MINT’ came from the city of Birmingham where she grew up, the processes and materials which established the city as an industrial hub and her grandfathers’ work as a silversmith in the 1960s.
