Being born in the ages with social expectation upon women being independent and successful as men, Ina Hsu, on the contrary, promotes the idea of women being no longer needed to put on power suits or acting rationally like men to be confident via this collection.
She has portrayed a reflection of contemporary women facing the challenges in this fast-changing world with multiple roles playing at the same time. Different from the traditional neat power suits on runways, the curves and waist-emphasised silhouettes state women's confidence of being vulnerable, sensitive, complicated, and of course, feminine.
"Via this collection, I would like to promote the idea of women being no longer needed to put on neat power suits, or acting rationally like men to be confident."
"Base on the research of power suits evolution on runways and shape developing, I designed this collection differing from traditional neat suits with feminine silhouettes and 3D curves."
