Over the past year, I been in the process of changing my brand name from Fly Forever to Jacob & John. With the first collection from Jacob & John, I wanted to focus on nylon fabrics and animal prints. I chose to create a nylon tracksuit, offering it two different colors for this current season, in grey and black. I designed the jackets with the pockets in the front, to get away from the traditional look of the pockets being on the sides. Also, I wanted to highlight animal prints that look good in the summertime by the pool, at the beach, or even at nighttime out at the club.

The star collection was inspired by the Dallas Cowboy Star. I wanted to incorporate the star in a few different pieces, from shorts, shirts, joggers, and hoodies. The star represents a natural luminous body visible in the sky especially at night or a self-luminous gaseous spheroidal celestial body of great mass which produces energy by means of nuclear fusion reactions. So on these pieces, I chose to make the star the focal point of each piece, whether it’s in the center, side or triangular shape throughout this collection.
