Katie Milledge is a British menswear designer, graduated from the University of the Creative Arts with a First Class Degree in Fashion Design, winning BDA LDN’s Trend Competition and landing a job as a menswear Creative Assistant.

During the time pursuing her degree she explored womenswear and found a passion for men’s design and styling. Having worked for luxury brands such as Jenny Packham and Beau Homme, Katie has displayed a variety of skills within the fashion industry.

Katie’s collection ‘Hacksaw’ was inspired by her strength in research and fascination in historical events. Inspiration came from the film Hacksaw Ridge, uniforms worn by WWII soldiers mixed with Black Bloc Rioters’ sports streetwear. A capsule wardrobe designed for the modern man with tailored and technical aspects. Oversized and heavy silhouettes inspired by the carrying of comrades on soldiers’ backs. With a focus on sustainability and recycling of fabrics, in addition to her own photography of rioters depicting hidden identities being used as a contrasting graphic feature.
