Kelly Langridge is a Fashion Design with business studies graduate from Brighton University, who specialises within modern avant-garde womenswear that has a strong ethos of creating fashion that is impactful and evokes a reaction of awe.

Kelly’s love for fashion began with an obsession with the beauty of movement., wanting to capture this love in her work by using the natural movement of a body in motion to engineer a mechanical movement of her garments.

Her collection was originally inspired by the science of a how a dog shakes its fur, and lead her down the path of kinetic artists and illusions, resulting in her creating and printing her own custom illusion print used on dainty tailored jackets, soft flowing organzas that captured the movement, and hypnotising bodysuits.

With the desire to create something new that would create a memorable impact, she created the illusion skirt that used the premise of a ball bearing and analogue lenticular motion to create a skirt that spun to create the illusion of a dog running.
