Laura Jasiunaite is a fashion designer focusing on slow, sustainable and avant-garde fashion. All her designs are one of a kind unique pieces. As a recent Fashion Pattern Cutting graduate from London College of Fashion, she focuses on the cut and drape of garments creating innovative as well as well constructed tailored garments. All of her pieces are made out of natural fibres, the ones she uses most commonly are linen, cotton, silk and wool.
Her graduate collection is inspired by the current global issue of overconsumption. Through this collection, she aims to incite the consumer to be a more conscious shopper and treat their clothing with love and care.
The collection is a playful take on the deconstruction of garments, aiming to portray how we have some many unnecessary garments. Various looks of the collection consist of garments merged together which can be worn in multiple ways by buttoning them up in various places.
