During the time when she was pursuing her BA in Fashion Design Technology, in London College of Fashion, Marine focused on researching emotions and mental health issues.
Marine Beybudyan graduate collection initially was inspired by Louise Bourgeois artwork, explores an idea of knots as a form of therapy for mental illnesses. Bourgeois considered art as a "form of psychoanalysis", offering unique access to the unconscious, as well as a form of psychological release. Exploration of knotted shapes convey mixed emotions and feelings such as anxiety, fear and anger.
Alongside her degree she has completed an internship at Typical Freaks, and also assisted English brands Gareth Pugh and Emilia Wickstead during LFW.
After graduating London College of Fashion, Marine is looking to expand her graduate collection by establishing a womenswear brand and continue to grow as a designer.
