Megan Williams has spent the last three years studying for a BA in Fashion and Textile design at the University of Portsmouth. She is a womenswear designer based in Bedfordshire.

Her graduate collection ‘Bedtime stories’ aims to make you feel free in a restrictive world. Dreaming, can make you feel liberated but also trapped in a nightmare. In this collection, the idea of dreaming led to thinking about mental wellbeing, hence the cool calming tones of the colour palette. Her collection targets today’s society, pressured and uptight, allowing you to feel liberated and free, through the contrasting use of sheer, flowing fabrics and upcycled parachutes and structured upcycled PVC’s. Space has also informed her digital dye sublimation print, through the use of soft watercolours depicting galaxies.
