Cassadee Chase is a fashion designer based in New York City. Originally from Elgin, IL, Cassadee draws inspiration from Americana Culture and the Midwest through suit-wear.

Chase graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in 2019. Chase won the Swarovski Scholarship prize and Sophie Hallette Sponsorship for her thesis collection. Chase has been nominated for Parsons Academic Awards in Social Innovation and Textiles.

The Recluse Club was founded in New York City with the focus of A-Gender Suiting. Through the exploration of vintage garments, a love for found objects, historical references, film studies and politics, Recluse Club aims to redefine what Americana means.

The Recluse Club hopes by repurposing Americana culture, new avenues of unique bold genderless suiting can develop and give a voice to anyone who confidently wears Recluse. With a heavy hand in textile development through beading and fabric manipulation, Chase hopes to open up conversations around what masculinity and femininity means as a way of dress.
