Sirui Ning is a jewellery designer based in China and London, which just graduated from BA jewellery design course at Central Saint Martins.
Sirui gets inspirations from various things, from the details in nature, such as colours, patterns, structures, shapes, etc, to different angular, geometric architectural structures. She loves playing with colours, especially by using coloured stones and beads, creating intriguing and elegant patterns.
For this collection, Sirui explores the beauty of the sky through beading techniques, using the beads like atoms that come together to make new forms. This collection is about redefining the value of photos she has taken from the skies at different moments - photos that have been forgotten, unnoticed and buried in her phone – by transforming them from 2d images to 3d jewellery pieces.
